Google Chrome Extensions For SEO 2018
How To Use Google Chrome Extensions To Better Your SEO Practices In 2018
As we all know, Google Chrome is the most popular search engine / browser out there. Currently sitting at around 60% of the market share and showing no signs of anything other then this continuing to rise.
Not only does it offer its users a great user experience when browsing the web, Google leads the way for all other search engines. From local SEO to Knowledge Graphs, Google knows what it’s doing when controlling Search Engine Ranking Pages (SERPS).
For SEO experts, you need to look at Google as both your friend and enemy. For example, if you play the game correctly you will be rewarded with increased SERPs and Page Authority. That said, if you’re not prepared to play ball their way, they’ll simply find others to replace you in their team, leaving you wondering what went wrong. To be buddy like with Google is to be on the first page of their Search Engine Pages.
If Google was a person you wouldn’t call them a trend setter or even be the first person added onto your guest list for a product launch. Google would sit in the background, observing, using their social skills to be liked by everyone who attends, but only really interested in following the IT crowd of the moment. Google likes those who are popular. That’s why content, content social share, bounce rates and back-links are so important in SEO, to show Google how popular and cool you are. So don’t be mistaken, Google isn’t your friend and can hinder your page rankings, and punish you for any SEO bad practices.
This all said, they have put the tools in place to allow businesses and SEO pros to work SEO the right way. Or shall I say their way.
